Walking in Marina del Rey and Venice
As a lifelong dog owner, I believe happy dogs make happy people. When our lives get busy and the work days get long, there is nothing better than coming home to a happy, healthy, and loving best friend. Unfortunately, we can't always give our woofers the attention, exercise, and socialization they need... and they need a lot of all three of those things.
Since moving to the area, I have spent a lot of time exploring with my best friend, Shayla, an Australian Shepherd, meeting other dog owners, and discovering places like Oberrieder Dog Park in Playa Vista, Rosie's Dog Beach, and the nearby Burton Chace Park. Shayla has never been happier!
We like to believe that two or three short walks per day is enough, but since increasing the length and variety of our outings, I have watched my eleven-year-old turn into her younger self again. Shayla wasn't getting old, she was just cooped up! Now when I see her passed out, I know it's because she's had an incredible day, not because she's feeling down. Call me today, and come home to a happier friend tomorrow.
